Due to the limited nature of the Wandering Star print runs, these titles could be considered out of print as soon as they reach the market, whether or not there are still copies available. In contrast, “Sold Out” means exactly that. Gone. Unavailable. Out of reach. Not to be had at any price.
Lest that sound too emphatic, keep in mind that several years ago one of the ultra-limited leather editions of Solomon Kane showed up on eBay. The final sale price was upwards of $2500. It’s hard to get more out of reach than that. A online dealer search conducted in early 2003 showed that the limited edition of the Kane book was running in the neighborhood of $750 – and of all the used and rare book dealers in the world, there was only one listed for sale.
Except for the newest titles, availability, should be considered very tentative.
